LEADERSHIP IN UNCERTAIN TIMES

This spring, the Cultural Leadership Programme held a successful series of three debates that addressed how the creative and cultural sector can continue to innovate and flourish in challenging times.

The events, which took place at Kings Place between March and May 2010, saw leading economists, scientists, cultural and creative industry leaders, and opinion formers engage in a series of dynamic debates about the expectations and responsibilities of culture in modern society.  The series not only addressed the challenges for leaders of Britain’s culture and creative industries, but demonstrated why the sector deserves to be at the heart of national debate about the political, environmental and economic issues of our time.
