Peach Placements

An eclectic and dynamic range of leadership placements across the cultural and creative industries for emerging and mid-career leaders, encouraging ‘learning through doing’, with guidance and support from some of the industries’ most respected leaders

Objectives:

  • Developing leadership capacity for emerging and mid career leaders

  • Opportunities for real time experiential learning through significant projects and initiatives

Focus:

Emerging and mid-career leaders who want to develop their skills in a work environment through shadowing a leader and undertaking key projects with guidance and support. The objective is to ‘learn through doing’ and the expectation is that the transition from shadowing to delivering will be a quick one. It is intended that placements should be intensive and transformative in leadership development. Placements are for a period of between 6 and 12 months by agreement with the host organisation. Placements of 12 months duration are supported with additional funding by the host organisation.

Each Placement is unique and will be tailor-made with the organisation to enhance the leadership potential of the individual. Criteria specific to the opportunity and organisation will apply.

Host Organisations:

We are in discussion with a range of host organisations across the cultural and creative industries in order to select a wide variety of placements. This is a rolling programme so new hosts with exciting placement opportunities are always welcome. For a full list of participating host organisations, see below.

Funding:

Up to £15,000 is available to support an individual proposal. Applicants need to submit a detailed proposal for support to CLP. Decisions on the level of funding offered will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
