Liz is at the top of her field in the outdoor arts sector and is one of its major advocates. With extensive experience producing and touring outdoor work and site-specific performance in the UK and aboard, she is responsible for the strategic development of Walk the Plank, an independent producing company.  

Her leadership style is consensual, collaborative and enabling and her work to date is testimony to this.

Excelling in building a company from scratch to a turnover of £1.7 million, Walk the Plank is currently working with the city of Turku in Finland to create the opening for their European Capital of Culture celebration in 2011; with Essex County Council on the Big Event for 2012 and with Manchester City Council to create a new Parade in the city in June 2010.  The securing of these contracts has been down to Liz’s excellent communication skills and passionate commitment to her work, coupled with an eye for quality and impact which connects her with high level partners. 

Liz gives generously as board member and trustee for several cultural organisations including X.trax, and Art Gene as well as demonstrated strategic skills in her training roles and inspired leadership of Walk the Plank.
