Sally Goldsworthy

Demonstrating leadership through her passion and ability to deliver strong artistic programmes and develop new ways of working, Sally has worked with the dedicated team at Discover to build a truly impactful artistic vision.  Facilitating circumstances where artists and staff members feel safe to experiment, take risks and create their best work Sally combines great ideas and vision with enormous practical ability.

Persuasive, entrepreneurial, an astute negotiator and strong partnership builder she has built a high level of support and buy-in for Discover across a range of stakeholders.   Securing significant funding for the project she has developed a financially sustainable model without core government funding. 

Deeply committed to ensuring that arts organisations engage in meaningful dialogue and are accountable to the audience and participants, children are actively involved in decision-making at Discover.  This work has been recognised by DCFS, Save the Children and the National Children’s Bureau as a model of good practice. 

Collaborative in her approach, Sally is constantly pushing to ensure the organisation delivers high quality experiences for the people they serve.
