Artist Practitioner Leadership Development Opportunites
CLP is offering two programmes of leadership development for artists/practitioners in the cultural and creative industries. This pilot leadership development opportunity will help us define and determine new ways of supporting individual artists and practitioners who are seeking to develop their leadership skills and behaviours. Participants may seek to lead within organisational practice or to organise themselves to influence through their own practice.
Two programmes are available - The Independents, led by Battersea Arts Centre and Method, led by Solar Associates. The two programmes are different in that The Independents connects participants with an independently minded organisation, like Battersea Arts Centre, offering an expanded network, peer mentoring and residency opportunities, whilst Method offers participants leadership learning in the context of their own place of work.
