Leadership Facilitation Skills

The five day Leadership Facilitation Skills course offers mid-career leaders an accredited CPD opportunity to develop your facilitative leadership skills and enhance your management skills using the powerful process of action learning. Delivered by Action Learning Associates the courses are led by director Ruth Cook, Katie Venner and Di Bligh.

The initial three days involves total immersion in an action learning set – taking part, observing how it works and practicing facilitation. It’s learning by doing. After a three month gap there’s a further two day course to continue your journey to becoming an effective facilitator. You can finish the course as an accredited action learning facilitator by submitting a Reflective Learning Log as a record of your learning and practice.

The courses, which will run in June or July and finish in October 2009, are suitable for mid-career leaders in the cultural and creative industries, preferably with some experience of group facilitation or experience/understanding of action learning. Locations will be dependent on the selection process, but we are particularly keen to receive applications from Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

A fee of £250 is payable.
